The security situation in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (“DRC”) has always been a major concern for overseas enterprises and Chinese. Especially as the presidential election is approaching, the country's political and security environment becomes even more challenging. In light of this, the Chinese Embassy in the DRC recently organized a themed event to promote overseas safety and insurance knowledge, specifically inviting Frontier Services Group DRC company (“FSG DRC”) to share its expertise and insights to local Chinese enterprises and overseas Chinese. The event was attended by hundreds of participants, including leaders of Chinese enterprises in DRC, representatives from overseas Chinese associations, chambers of commerce, and associations, through both online and offline channels.

During the event, the representatives from security segment provided an overview of the recent security situation in the DRC and offered guidance to enterprises on improving their emergency early warning and prevention mechanisms. The representatives from insurance segment introduced the local insurance laws and regulations, as well as market conditions, and discussed some topics that are of particular interest to enterprises.
