FSG’s Phoenix Performs a Graceful Dance in the Sky

2022-06-11

On May 28, 2022, the Museum Air Show was jointly held in the capital Nairobi by Kenya Defense Forces and Kenya Aviation Club, where the Kenyan President enjoyed spectacular flying displays alongside the visiting Ethiopian Prime Minister, top military and political figures, as well as the Nairobi public.

It was the first time the Kenyan military and civilian aviation companies cooperated to put on exciting flying displays for the public. Spectators were amazed by a number of thrilling performances, such as multi-aircraft joint aerobatics by the South African aerobatic team and the unique tactics of the Kenyan Air Force helicopters. Shows like firefighting drills and skydiving with the Kenyan flag also feasted the eyes of the audience.

Phoenix Aviation Limited (PAL), a Frontier Services Group (FSG) subsidiary, took an active role in the flying display along with several other civil aviation companies. Piloted by senior Director Mr. Parkinson, PAL’s fixed-wing Cessna Citation C680 left its graceful presence in the sky.

Phoenix Aviation Limited was founded in 1994, with its headquarters and main operational base in Nairobi. As a subsidiary of Frontier Services Group, it has abundant experience in providing such services as business charter, air rescue, aircraft management and maintenance, etc. Recognized by 3rd Party Certification of European Aviation Institute of Medical Research (EURAMI), PAL is famous in Africa for its air rescue and emergency response capacity, serving the United Nations and many other international organizations. There are nine turbojets and turboprop aircraft with air rescue capabilities covering the whole Africa region, parts of the Middle East and Europe.
