2025-12-02

On November 23, 2025, the 2025 Annual Review Meeting of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC) was held in Kolwezi. Representatives from the Chinese Embassy in the DRC, Chinese-funded enterprises, and chamber members attended the event. As a key partner, FSG Security Company in DRC (FSGS) delivered a special report on the achievements of the Joint Protection Mechanism and was once again awarded the titles of “Outstanding Member”, while its company representative received the title of “Outstanding Individual”.

During the meeting, the Chamber announced the establishment of the Lubumbashi and Likasi branches and designated the improvement of the Joint Protection Mechanism as a priority task, calling on Chinese enterprises in the DRC to actively participate in building a stronger security network.

As a major driver of the Joint Protection Mechanism, FSGS has significantly strengthened the overall security network by integrating resources and establishing an effective protection system. These efforts have notably reduced security incidents involving Chinese nationals and enhanced emergency response capabilities, creating a safer operating environment for enterprises.

Representatives from participating enterprises shared practical experiences at the meeting and highly commended FSGS’s professional contributions. This marks the fifth consecutive year that FSGS has been recognized as an “Outstanding Member,” reflecting broad acknowledgment of its critical role in advancing joint defense efforts across the DRC.

The Counselor from the Chinese Embassy reiterated the principles of “avoiding high-risk areas,” “avoiding unstable regions,” and “avoiding high-risk investments,” and expressed appreciation for the efforts made by FSGS and other member organizations in ensuring the safety of Chinese nationals in the DRC.

The successful convening of this meeting signifies a new stage of organizational and collaborative development within the Chinese community in the DRC. FSGS will continue to uphold its professionalism and sense of responsibility, working hand in hand with all parties to build a more robust security shield for Chinese nationals and Chinese enterprises in the DRC, contributing to a safer and more prosperous future.
