Frontier Services Group Won the Bid for Security Project of China-Laos Railway

Frontier Security Services Limited (“FSG”) received Letter of Acceptance of Security Services for Boten-Vientiane Section of China-Laos Railway on 25th October, 2021.


The Laos-China Railway is an essential section of the pan-Asia railway network. It is a 418-kilometer-long railway starting from Boten to Vientiane in Laos, with a design speed of 160 kilometers per hour. It is the first international railway connecting with Chinese railway network. The Laos-China Railway Co., Ltd., a joint venture based in the Lao capital Vientiane, is in charge of the railway's construction and operation.

Since 2018, FSG has been deeply involved in the security consulting and supporting work of the Laos-China Railway during construction period, including risk assessment along the construction line, security training for overseas employees, personal security of the Laos-China Railway headquarters, and security system design for operation period. The Laos-China Railway is scheduled to start operation in December 2021, for which FSG is actively participating in various preparations.
