2020-01-08

At the end of 2019, Frontier Services Group (“FSG”) and Lao Ministry of Energy and Mine held a signing ceremony in Vientiane for The Lao Reconnaissance of Geology and Mineral Resources Project. Over 20 people attended the ceremony, including Lao officials, head of FSG Laos team and representatives from relevant organizations.

At the ceremony, the official from Lao Ministry of Energy and Mine said: “Due to limitation in technology, talent and fund, the Lao government had only sporadic data which cannot effectively support economic mining or national mining industry development planning. In the principle of promoting sustainable development for Laos’ mining industry, FSG joins hands with Laos in pushing forward the geology and mineral resources reconnaissance. This will be beneficial to the Lao economic development and social stability, and will further enhance traditional friendship between China and Laos.”

FSG country manager of Laos briefed on FSG’s current business layout and expressed willingness to make full use of FSG’s advantages in integrating resources in the backdrop of China – Laos community of a shared future. Working with the Ministry of Energy and Mine, FSG will make real efforts, conduct real business and obtain real results.

It is the first time for the past five years that the Lao Ministry of Energy and Mine approves a mining cooperation project with a foreign enterprise. It will promote deep collaboration between the Ministry and foreign enterprises. FSG hopes to explore wider cooperation opportunities with its outstanding professional level.
