Sales Director

Job Purpose:

The Sales Director is   responsible for the overall management and coordination of particular trade   lane,   including logistics, security and insurance service.

   

Role Reports:

Weekly activities report and monthly report.

   

Responsibilities (Functions and   duties):

1.Responsible for overall project management and coordination;

2.Monitor the processes to ensure compliance with regulatory and legal   requirements;

3.Review and manage the overall calendar of events, ensure that timing   is achievable and change manageable;

4.Risk assessment and contingency planning;

5.Interface with client when critical issues arise and assess possible   solutions;

6.Communicate and collaborate with other supporting departments.

   

Experience:

10+ years   working experience in logistics industry and 5 years in Africa business;

   

Qualifications:

Academic:

Bachelor’s   degree in logistics related field.

Professional:

1.Comprehensive knowledge in international logistics services;

2.Expert in import / export legislation and compliance in different   regions;

3.Skillful in communication, negotiation and problem solving;

4.Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills;

5.Proficient skills in all Microsoft office products, project   management tools preferred;

6.Excellent command in reading, writing and speaking English and   Chinese (Putonghua).

   

 

 

Specialist knowledge required:

1.Preferred with experience living and/or working in Africa.
