Job purpose:
The HR Generalist/Manager is responsible for assisting the Global or Regional Head of HR in handling all rounded HR functions across Northwest Region within the Group. A key focus of the role will be to manage the day-to-day HR operations across the offices in Laos and other new offices, as well as to assist and support other areas through sound HR advice with the support of local HR advisor. The incumbent will assist to manage full spectrum of HR, including: talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, retention and development, performance management and employee relations.
Responsibilities:
1. Ensure full compliance under employment law regulations and requirements for HK listed company;
2. Oversee resourcing and talent requirements up to senior officer level, in particular, for safety and security division;
3. Assist to provide market benchmark information on staffing and retention strategies;
4. Handle monthly payroll and final payments in support of group C&B strategy;
5. Handle employee benefits especially supplementary insurance for safety and security division;
6. Co-ordinate and participate in employee performance review including annual salary review, bonus payout and stock scheme;
7. Manage and maintain human resources information and related records;
8. Assist in HR budgeting, prepare HR reports and summary, and handle HR audit;
9. Assist in formulating, implementing and reviewing HR policies, procedures and guidelines;
10. Co-ordinate HR related matters with the HR representatives in other regions and group subsidiaries;
11. Assist in ad hoc assigned projects.
12. Ideal HR Generalist/Manager is responsible for assisting the Global or Regional Head of HR in handling HR functions in other subsidiaries across Northwest Region.
Experience:
1. 5 years solid HR generalist experience within multinational organization;
2. Experience in new office set up is a plus;
3. Experience in International Safety and Security Industry is a plus;
Qualifications:
Academic:
1. Degree holder in HR/ Business Administration or related disciplines;
2. Overseas degree is a plus.
Professional:
1. Excellent verbal and written command of English; Excellent verbal and written command of Chinese is a plus;
2. Strong HR generalist knowledge and experience;
3. Well-versed in employment law regulations, HR policies and C&B policies in Laos;
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong working rapport with a diversified group of business parties;
5. Highly self-motivated with resilience, can work under great pressure;
6. Highly proficient in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint;
7. Overtime and travel is required occasionally.
